16 June, 2008 - by Chad   comments: (0) General   New Health Concerns for Jim As you all know Jim has had some very serious trials with his health lately. I got an email from him today saying that he was going to have to check into the hospital for a while. Here's what's happening. Jim's physical activity is usually very restricted because of the bone condition and then when he breaks something, like breaking his shoulder last week, he becomes even more sedentary. As a result Jim always has edema in his legs and when he gets injured the edema seems to get worse. His doctor is concerned enough about the edema that he wants Jim in the hospital for possibly as long as a week. They want to make sure that his health isn't affected by this or that the edema isn't being caused by some other health concern that has gone undetected so far. Jim asked me to let all of you know and to tell you that he won't be posting for a while. I may post something in the mean time just to keep Old Truth active, but Old Truth is Jim's baby and it just isn't the same without him around. Please keep him in prayer and pray that the Lord will comfort him and strengthen him through this trial.
